Archival

Program Objectives

The Archival Program Committee is establishing an online data based website that will serve the twin goals of locating materials about B. F. Skinner and facilitating their availability to researchers and the general public. When operational, the system will permit the entry of materials and their subsequent classification and retrieval as to medium, location, nature, historical period, ownership, and availability.
Once the system is established, the Archival Committee will make a general call for materials. It is particularly interested in non-commercial primary items such audio recordings, photographs, video tapes, uncataloged letters, and the like. However, the site will index all published materials as well. It would be greatly interest in items not currently cataloged in any search system.

It is easy to assume that all of the important materials are already known and cataloged, but the lessons of Freud and Darwin suggest that letters, manuscripts, and photographs will continue to be discovered.
